Hippotherapy
Physical Therapists use the movements of a horse for carefully graded motor and sensory input. This helps clients with diagnosed medical, sensory challenges, and psychological conditions improve physical strength, coordination, balance, confidence, and quality of life. Why is it called Hippotherapy? Hippo is the Greek word for Horse!

STAT® Inc. Psychotherapy Adult Programs
Equine Assisted Therapy for Veterans and Service Members
Equine Assisted Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) Protocol. This therapy is done as an adjunct to your current psychotherapy. Take charge of your healing journey using the eight phases of EMDR with horses and mini-donkeys. 1-hour to 90 minutes for individuals. Session costs are covered by the VA Adaptive Sports grant.
O.K. Corral "Red" Crisis Series
Explore equine assisted methods to help improve coping skills and emotional safety through horse herd connection. 2-hours for small groups or 1-hour for individuals. Session costs are covered by the VA Adaptive Sports grant.
Explore your healing journey alongside horses to heal from distress and trauma. Horses will guide you in an unscripted personalized journey of meaning in a safe and non-judgmental space. 2-hours for small groups or 1-hour for individuals. Session costs are covered by the VA Adaptive Sports grant.

A referral from your mental health provider is required along with a screening interview to ensure a good fit for programming.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) can be done as an adjunct to current psychotherapy or as a main treatment of mental health needs in some cases. Sessions can help people find their own solutions to challenging issues, grow in resiliency, and find acceptance with themselves and the herd.
Equilateral™ is an Equine Assisted Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) Protocol
This therapy can be done as an adjunct to current psychotherapy or as a main treatment of trauma. We offer this protocol to children from 11 years old to adults. Our clinical psychologist and equine specialist team are certified in the Equilateral™ Protocol.
